Kudzu Infestation
in North Dakota
Current Kudzu Coverage in North Dakota
Kudzu coverage in North Dakota was not reported to be extensive in 2023, but there were reports of infestations, particularly in the last decade. The Nature Conservancy notes that kudzu thrives in areas with mild winters and hot summers, and climate change may be making it easier for the vine to spread northward.
