Current Kudzu Coverage in Washington
In 2023, kudzu was identified as a regulated, Class A noxious weed in Washington, requiring eradication statewide. While it was discovered in Clark County and treated/removed, no other known infestations existed. The Washington State Noxious Weed Control Board lists kudzu as a Class A noxious weed, requiring its eradication. It's also on the Washington quarantine list, making it illegal to buy, sell, or offer for sale within the state.
